At 29’ long, there is ample room for dive or snorkel gear in the stern. The spacious bow of the boat features cushioned seating for enjoying a quick ride out to the reef or a leisurely exploration of the mangroves and bay.
The Lucky Fish is a catamaran – a twin-hulled boat that is more stable than boats with a single hull. Those prone to queasiness from choppy seas will appreciate the smoother ride. Our twin Yamaha 300 horsepower engines get us to and from the reefs quickly.
Other comfort features of the Lucky Fish include SeaDek flooring, an extra-long ladder with integrated handrails, freshwater shower, built-in ice cooler, Bluetooth-connected stereo music system and even an uncommonly spacious flush toilet! We don’t have air conditioning but we do have retractable sun shades to cover both the front and the back sections of the boat.
As a vessel carrying six or fewer passengers for hire, the Lucky Fish must comply with the law, carry all required equipment and have a licensed master. We ask the US Coast Guard Auxiliary to conduct an additional safety examination of our boat every year to thoroughly review our life jackets, fire extinguishers, radio, and posted safety information were among the items reviewed. We pass the test and proudly display our official decal!
